Seeing The Light with Jerry Mucklow
March 4th 1:00 - 4:00 PM
Understanding qualities of light, both natural and artificial in order to make better photos.
In this class Jerry will cover all qualities of light. Learning to see the various qualities and colors of daylight will be explored and how best to use them to your photographic advantage, whether you are taking a portrait or capturing a scenic image.
Artificial light and how to create it affordably for indoor use will be discussed as well as the unlimited number of ways you can illuminate an object or person to best convey the look or feel you want to express. Options for modifying or altering the artificial light will be presented.
This class is open to all levels of photographic experience or desire, including smart phone camera users as well as the advanced DSLR hobbyist.
I encourage students to bring a wish list of subjects they would have Jerry review and break down the way he would approach capturing using light to the of his advantage.
